Quick Start
Invite team members in 3 simple steps
Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to your Sortpay dashboard
- Click on "Team" in the main navigation
- You'll see your current team members and an "Invite Member" button
Email Address
- • Enter the colleague's work email address
- • Make sure the email is accurate - this is where the invitation will be sent
- • They'll need access to this email to accept the invitation
Choose Role
- Click "Send Invitation" to email the invite
- The invitee will receive an email with a secure invitation link
- You'll see the invitation status in your team list (Pending/Accepted)
- Invitee clicks the link in their email
- They create a Sortpay account or sign in to existing one
- They're automatically added to your team workspace

Managing Invitations
Invitation sent, waiting for acceptance

Invitation link has expired (send a new one)
- Resend Invitation:If the original email was missed or expired
- Cancel Invitation:Remove pending invitations before they're accepted
- Change Role:Update member roles after they've joined

- Use work email addresses for better organization
- Start with Member role and upgrade to Owner if needed
- Let new members know about the invitation email
- Regularly review team member access
- Don't use personal email addresses for work accounts
- Don't give Owner access unless truly needed
- Don't forget to remove access when people leave
- Don't share invitation links - they're tied to specific emails
Common Questions
How many team members can I invite?
There's no limit to the number of team members you can invite. Your plan's invoice processing limit is shared across all team members.
What happens if someone doesn't accept the invitation?
Invitations remain pending for 7 days. After that, you can resend a new invitation. Pending invitations don't count against your team size.
Can team members see each other's work?
Yes, all team members can see all invoices and data within the workspace. This enables collaboration and ensures everyone stays informed.
How do I remove a team member?
Go to the Team page, find the member you want to remove, and click the "Remove" button. They'll immediately lose access to your workspace.
